I use DuckDuckGo because of the "bangs". Basically it lets you search loads of different websites from your search bar by adding a "!sitename" to the query. For example "!g cats" will search google for cats, while "!w cats" will search wikipedia for cats. I particularly enjoy "!wt", which brings up a wikitionary entry defining a word–super useful if you're into languages like I am.

Yes for general search I use google. DDG is very good too, but I used Google for many years.
